Building my Eleven

Part of the mods to be carried out will include the setting up of this load cell gear lever knob.

This senses two directional movements and is suitable for H pattern dog boxes.

It will be linked to the ecu to trigger and ignition cut which will allow flat shifting.

Not as good as a sequential 'box but still keeps the car in the appropriate class.

Cheers Terry, it took a bit of investigating and will need some setting up but should be fun, even on an Eleven.

Newman cams fitted, part of the upgrade, hopefully adding a bit more oomph.

Car is now back with cams fitted, revised and simplified cooling system and the load cell configured.

Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to upload the dyno run, quality was not too good anyway.

Now I need to refit the bodywork and tidy a few areas prior to getting a vehicle passport, it all takes time.

And then there is the grass, which persists in growing.

(The offside splash guard needs trimming as it is compressing the air filter)

W3ster, not sure what you are asking about specifically.

If there is something you want to ask, please do and I will

try to answer.

Photograph is of the car in the paddock at Etretat last August with it literally, starting, steering and well, sort of stopping,

so really now, it's checking over and changing anything that needs it and carrying out some upgrades.

Thanks. Does it work OK?

Yes it's ok so far, provided I don't play with the knob, sorry is that a bit rude.

I believe, depending on the force applied to the lever, the voltage changes and activates an ignition cut via

the ECU. All I know is it works, even across the gate but of course has to be on a dog box.

Not quite as fast as a sequential box but a lot less expensive.

From the speed series point of view, it will put me in a different class mentioned before anyone gets upset.

Thanks. I'm not sure it would put you in a different class. only H pattern and sequential are separated at present

I've already been told it would as it is classed as an electronic aid.
