Remote oil filter Seight

I hope this isn't a stupid question but, what replacement do I need for my remote oil filter canister? it's just a plain white filter with no marking that I can see. I think it's probably standard factory built Seight but I'm guessing if I say that in Halfords I'll get funny looks.

Cheers

Try a mahler oc67 or a mann w930/20 there is a unipart equivalent too

Opie oils are a good source of filters and oils

They come in different depths depending on clearance for your install.go for a big one !

If it's a standard Mocal type remote filter head, then just about any 3/4 unf oil filter will fit (3/4 unf used by just about every Ford and VW/Audi and a few others).

As Jon mentions it's more about how much space you have as to the size of filter - also you ideally need a filter that has an anti-drain valve (most do but check) - with the remote filter layout you ideally want to avoid all the oil draining back out of the system into the sump as that will then take longer every time you start up for oil pressure to build up.

I tend to use Mahle filters all the time now and OC606 is a compact filter as it uses the latest technology for filter paper etc

Useful catalogue here https://catalog.mahle-aftermarket.com/eu/modules/mahleFilter/detail.xhtml?filterId=165621 (RSV is the anti drain valve)
