It is with regret that I am Selling my pride and joy, my Westfield SEIW wide body, which is powered by a 2.0 ST170 Zetec engine that produces 227bhp, fuled by twin weber carbs. Unfortunately the time has come to turn my car into a deposit on a mortgage to enable me to buy bricks and mortar; otherwise it would never be getting sold.

I have owned the car for just over 4 years, and maintained it myself as always to a very high standard, with the occasional specialist assistance when required.

When I bought the car it was running a standard 2.0 Zetec on ZX9r Carbs and a Megajolt ECU, however I changed to Webers and not long after I replaced the engine with a fully rebuilt Ford ST170 2.0 Zetec, which was built at my request by Tom Bell Racing, TBR, Based at Drakes Garage Market Weighton, East Yorkshire. The engine was a ST170 complete donor engine so already has the stronger bottom end than the standard Zetec engines, however ARP conrod bolts were fitted and a raceline sump.

It was rebuilt using pocketed piston’s to allow for more aggressive cams to be fitted, bored and honed as you would expect with any full rebuild, the head and block were both skimmed and decked to increase the compression, and the head has been polished and ported which has produced a very strong, powerful and engine with buckets of torque that produces a nice balance of power right the way through the rev range, but of course is VERY FAST!.Even with 227bhp and weighing just over 500kg it is a very driveable power and torque range. Call Tom Bell on 07977542140 and have a chat if you want to know more about the engine specifics.

The gearbox is a type 9 with Quaiffe semi helical gear kit installed, with a very long first ratio, unfortunately I can’t find the ratios at the moment but will have a dig in my paper work and find out if you would like to know. It has the Ford RS Clutch fitted.

The Exhaust was also built to match the engine by Tom, and the result is a very nice Ford sounding rasp! I changed the ECU to an Omex for ease of use and reliability.

Other improvements, a very light weight Lithium battery, and a high cranking starter motor due to the new engine having increased compression. Large Racing Rad which cools the engine very well.

It has widetrack front end, and AP 4 Pot brake callipers and protech shocks, Aluminium Uprights and hubs . The car has been fully laser aligned, set up and corner weighted by Jonny Milner from Merlin International. A softer set of springs also included.

It is running Team Dynamics Pro race 1.2 13 inch wheels and has Avon CR500 tyres mounted to them, a very nice tyre to drive in my opinion, very predictable both front and rear have lots of life left in them.

Overall the car is very clean and presentable and has been very well built by its original owner Antony Noy, everything has been well thought through and looks very smart.

Unfortunately for me, I have done very little mileage in the car over the 4 years due to having multiple hobbies, so the engine has done 1K miles, if I added cost per mile I would cry, but the enjoyment per mile far out weighs this. The total mileage of the car is 6489 so still very little wear on the car. It is registered in 2008, VX 58 EEH. No wet weather gear as i never take it out in the rain or winter, so the car is in prime condition.

It is a real head turner.

Due to work and living and storage commitments I am limited on times when I can be available to meet for you to view the car, however Friday evenings, and weekends are the most likely times.
