AA Composites Half Doors

Recommended Posts

AA Composites

After several prototypes I am pleased to be in a position to offer the AA Composites half doors. These have been designed for the SeW and are available in black grp only(apologies to those carbon lovers). Each door has a reinforced top edge to prevent damage when getting in and out of the car. Finished on the inside with a tissue offering a matt finish, and a gloss outside so look good from whichever angle you view from. The drivers door (UK) has a small bulge in the top edge to enable a little extra clearance for the drivers knuckles. Flanges have been added to enable an easy fix onto the rear wheelarch.

Each pair is made to order, so please allow a little time to manufacture, this can be discussed when placing an order.

U.K Enquiries only please as overseas postage is costly.

Price including U.K. delivery £140 the pair.

I'm pleased to find these still fit perfectly with the Playskool cage. I thought it might be even more entertaining at petrol stations if I made a 'gull wing', so replaced the front Tenax with a 5mm c

Nice idea with the knuckle bulge, Andy! You are going to be very busy I think...   Any photos fitted? Are you taking your wares to Stoneleigh?

I have stopped production of the wind deflectors, as I am focused on my GRP products, Interchangeable aeroscreen, AA Composites boot box system, and half doors. Thanks for the enquiry though.

Fitted my doors today...

I wanted to be able to swap between these and full doors so I used heavy duty Velcro tape along the bottom and leading edges. They fit pretty well like this and seem very solid on the car.  Pics via links below.

Have been using mine for a while and am really pleased with it. I fitted a single 'German Tenax' from SoftBits on the leading edge which is easy to fit and remove whilst remaining secure on the road :)

Olliebeak

Hi,   What are the benefits, I presume it is a reduction in wind disturbance, I already have wind deflectors would these doors make an additional benefit,  I presume they would fit the SE.

Thanks
