Essex meet July

I wonder if anyone would like to meet at the Maldon Motor Show tomorrow instead of the Lodge. Not been to this one before so I can't vouch for it. However, feedback from last year was very good. Alternatively we can meet at the Lodge earlier than usual and take a blat over there. Free entry and a beer tent! What more could you ask for. See links below.

Apologies for the short notice.

Hi Tim, the Essex meet would be next weekend, the second sunday of the month :)

I'd thought about heading down to Maldon but hadn't made up my mind yet, I guess it depends on how much I get done later today. I've heard its a really good show, so I'd like to get down there at some point.

FWIW I'm also booked in for the car shows at Helmingham Hall, Lavenham and Fordham in August

A few Links :)

Helmingham Hall - http://www.helmingham.com/eventsasp2.asp?ID=14

Fordham - http://www.fordhamvehicleshow.com/

Lavenham - http://www.discoverlavenham.co.uk/rare-breed-car-show-i708.html

For entry to Helmingham you can either pre-book in advance (before 25th July) for cheaper entry or pay on the gate.

Fordham is a very small show (it's my local village ) but was well attended for it's first event last year with a couple of hundred cars and this year promises more.

Entry to Lavenham is strictly by pre-booking only. I've struggled to get an entry in the past as its very popular and the field does get full, but I notice at the moment the entry forms are still on their website.

Enjoy Maldon today :t-up: I'm afraid I wont be making it there now, it's raining and I'm still nursing one almighty hangover after yesterdays village fete :bangshead:
