Know it is £1000-1500 over priced Is an 87 pre lit chassis with an earlier ali body fitted The modifications bodywise are nosecone, vented bonnet and tight fitting wheel arches. Will check the tyre size - what is standard btw? And I actually like the hubs. Know I have to source wet weather gear either buy or make (neither a problem but still a cost) as non standard. Will go over the V5 and docs with care checking chassis no. Make a list of what every component is taken from - brakes, steering, suspension uprights, gearbox, axle even pedals. Know that the dash will require work but thats personal choice. Inspect as much as possible the quality of the build so take him up on the ramp offer! Does that sound like a sensible approach?
