CateringVan Posted December 4, 2002 Posted December 4, 2002 I've been out of the office for a couple of days so I missed this thread. Far be it from me as a Cateringvan owner to suggest you undermine such a balanced and unbiased review as this, but have none of you noticed the opportunity to reply to it ? BTW do you like my new sig Quote
Noel Johnson Posted December 4, 2002 Posted December 4, 2002 Bacon sarnies are food from the gods. If a Westy is a Bacon Sarnie then a cateringvan must equate to being a bacon sarnie also as they are both hewn from the Lotus seven style car. I trust you will all remain unbiased Quote
CateringVan Posted December 4, 2002 Posted December 4, 2002 Noel, the whole point is we are biased and we dont care either, its just a bit of fun. I want to see some silly replies on dooyoo, even if you agree with what it says (and I dont despite having a 'van) its just the way he's written it. Bacon sandwiches indeed. I might do something tonight when I'm not using my work internet connection. Now, as for your comment "they are both hewn from the Lotus seven style car" , ooohhh i could almost start an argument about that, once I've finished eating this bacon sandwich anyway Quote
I AM NOT A NUMBER!!! Posted December 4, 2002 Posted December 4, 2002 ...Westfields are hewn from the Oak Smoked Back Rashers. ....c******ms are hewn from boiled trotters Quote
Noel Johnson Posted December 4, 2002 Posted December 4, 2002 OK then the impartial hat is off (I had it on 'cos I was at work). Westies rule and will kick any caterthingy's hands down - if purely on looks alone I will let more experienced parties argue over performance and handling - after all I only drive a bacon sandwich Quote
ricdiggle Posted December 4, 2002 Posted December 4, 2002 The bacon sarnie bit makes complete sense to me but if further proof were needed that this man has never driven any of the cars he is reviewing, this bit seems to be the key! Go to the c******m sales centre if you can. They are very helpful... Ha! No-one who's tried to buy from a c******m sales centre would say that! Richard Quote
damianc Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 Pedant that I am, the bacon sandwich reference is not entirely clear to me. Is the "drive" a reference to a driveway other than tarmac/flags etc. A reference to golf perhaps? Is the man a herdsman? Quote
