  1. After wanting to build and run a Westfield for over 20 years this past year I finally got chance to realise my dream but it is with a heavy heart I have to consider selling my freshly build Westfield. I have been offered a very nice 997 at a price I just can't resist and having known the car for sometime I cannot let this pass by if this sells. For anyone who is interested here is a link to the build thread : Build Thread All purchased new from Westfield June 2018 and the car has now covered 1000 miles with very very little in the way of teething problems. The car has completed one trackday at Blyton Spec : Registered 1/3/19 Electric Blue bodywork 2.0 Blacktop Zetec on Omex throttle bodies and fitted with a raceline sump. New style FW bodywork with no rear plate recess Sport turbo seats black with blue piping Mazda LSD Pro race 1.2 wheels 7" fronts, 8 " rears fitted with Nankang NS-2R's Westfield Hi-spec brake upgrade new front pads just replaced as the EBC's were not to my liking All LED lights front and rear AIM MXS Strada 1.2 Dash with AIM VIM kit Carbon - Dash, front wings, mirror covers, rear arch stone chip covers, diffuser and cage hole covers Genuine Aerocatch bonnet catches OMP Trecento wheel with quick release column TRS 4 point harnesses 8 channel Freewheel setup with wheel backplate (although I am only using 4 of the channels MSA safety devices cage Only ever seen Vpower fuel through its very short life ! Protech Trackday adjustable dampers Perpsex side wind deflectors Full silicone hoses. Full Geo and corner weight setup at Playskool motorsport less than a month ago. The only addition I was going to consider is some stiffer rear springs as if your lardy like me when two up the car feels way to soft at the rear. Oil changed for Quality 5/30 fully Synthetic ester oil around 600 miles. I have another 5 litres of 5/40 and a few oil filters that will come with the sale All bodywork and wheels were machine polished and had a Gyeon ceramic coating applied at the end of the build making it very hydrophobic. This kit was built with the intention of me keeping it many years (or until I could afford a 997 911!) so everything has been done to the greatest of my ability and with no corners cut on the spec I wanted, It really saddens me to even post this up but the wife has signed off on a 911 and knowing her mood swings I need to grab this by the balls. Any inspection welcome - viewing can be arranged most days or evenings - You can contact via phone or via PM on here.
  2. Deposit taken After 15 years of ownership I have decided the time has come to try something different . So I would like to sell my car. It is fully road legal so would be great for either fast road use , trackdays or competition, its not really a show and shine tho. Spec Westfield Narrow Sei chassis with Westfields own diff casing and drive shafts , which help to keep the weight down, it was about 505kg at last weigh-in. The chassis was completely re-jigged and re-finished by westfield when I rebuilt the car back in 2001/2 and has since been on NMS laser set-up rig where it was spot on There is a full roll cage to make it safe if you want to venture out on track. You can remove the side impact bar . The bodywork is smart and in very good condition and has detachable arches , very rare on a narrow! It has an aero screen and also a brand new spare bonnet and nose in case you get carried away ! Engine is the superb Toyota 4age 1600 twin cam , producing approx 160hp. it is fitted with twin 45s, adjustable verniers , Kent cams, Ali Flywheel, Omex ignition,Tony Law manifold, Polo rad, ali catch and expansion tanks. Gearbox is the Ford type E 4 speed. Clutch is an AP H/D plate with Toyota pressure plate. The key to this car is its superb handling. This is due to the Ash Mason developed anti roll bars fitted front and rear and complimented by Gaz monotube , ali bodied , sperical bearing dampers all round. The steering is taken care of by a quick rack. final drive is a LSD with a 4-4 CWP , but I could change this to a 3-9 or 4-1 if prefered Front brakes are lightweight Hi spec calipers , rears are ali golf calipers CXR wheels are included with a set of Avon ZZRs and also a set of slicks for the track. Front Hubs are ali. The interior is sparse and functionable and has a padded Westfied race seat for the driver , however the passenger has to put up with padded squabs, but both have the safety of 4 point 3" harnesses I will try and put up some photos , bare with me , as a degree in IT is needed to load them on here , I will repeat the ad on the Westfield facebook page where I can easily load pics Please ring if you want more info , but I will update ad when I think of more spec I would like offers based on £7500 or maybe a part ex like a Gti or sports caror similar thanks for looking Stu Hill 079 39 266 971
  3. Widebodied Westfield Sport 2000 Duratec. Built by me in 2006 as a modular build using all new parts supplied by the Westfield factory. In 2010 I had the standard Webber ECU removed and a better re-mapable Omex 600 installed along with a custom re-packable Techcraft exhaust, oil catch tank and a softbitsforsevens half hood. Having I built it all the servicing, MOT’s and upgrades have been handled by the well respected Interpro race and rally prep in Bristol. (A huge file of receipts is available for anyone interested in looking through.) For the last 18 months I’ve just been too busy to really use the car as it deserves and last year covered just 900 miles in it. Sadly, I think it’s time I parted company with it. Currently at 10300 miles, 11 months MOT remaining and 6 months tax.
