Stoneleigh Fun! Photos and Videos

If you have any photos or videos you would like to see (or think we need to see) displayed on a TV in the marquee next weekend, please can you copy to a CD or memory stick and bring them with you. If small enough - email them to me at northlondon@wscc.co.uk. We may be able to get hold of large display that we can set up to run a slideshow of photos and videos. Might be a bit of fun! Nothing that would offend please, remember these will be seen by the public, children and vulnerable adults. (The vulnerable adults currently include myself and others sweating it behind the scenes to make Stoneleigh happen). Imagery should reflect all aspects of Westfield ownership both track and road and the social side (no mankinies). Ta -
Car Data sheets are available for download here. It is a Word 97 / 2003 document which can be opened in just about any text editor. Please try and keep to the layout and style. The bullet points are in a table to preserve standard layout, you should overwrite each bullet with your own spec adding or removing as you see fit. If it all goes to dangler, eMail me and I'll try to help. There will be an opportunity to create, print and laminate this on the day should you need to but I suggest you create your own if you can. We have 6 places left. please contact Andrew or Myself if you would like to attend ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COTSWOLD WESTFIELD AREA CLUB OUR OWN PRIVATE DAY AT CURBOROUGH DATE TUESDAY 7th MAY 2013 TIME 9.00 a.m. for Drivers Briefing WHERE just off the A38 near Fradley past Lichfield – see website NOISE nothing to worry about WEB www.curborough.co.uk COST £60 per car for the whole day This will be the fourth time we have booked Curborough exclusively for our own use so it is a PRIVATE DAY -- as before we have invited our WSCC club neighbours to be sure of getting the numbers to cover the track hire costs. By direct booking we cut out the middleman and give you excellent value for money -- but car numbers are limited to just 15 For those of you who haven’t been to Curborough before you will find a short but tricky sprint venue on the edge of the old Fradley airfield --- It is the ideal time to bring your car out and enjoy a low pressure car and driver testing day. It is ideal for the ladies and the younger generation to “have a go” since only one car is on the course at any time. We will be running everything ourselves in a friendly and informal way but will still pay full attention to safety --- you will be asked to take turns in doing some marshalling and start area supervision. BRIEF FACTS FOR THE DAY · Clothes --- do come with crash helmet and dress to keep arms and legs covered (no need for racing kit) just as you would for a track day --- email/call me with any queries · Track and Facility Details --- look on the Curborough website www.curborough.co.uk · Liability Insurance – we are fully covered by a policy operated by the owners of the track, the Shenstone and District Car Club, an FSA affiliated organisation . · Medical Support – we hope to have a first-aider available · Fire Equipment --- we will have a complete set of the appropriate fire extinguishers · Second drivers are encouraged · Passengers are allowed -- subject to the usual signed disclaimers –useful for Driver Instruction Driver Instruction -- WSCC Speed Series Winner Stu Hill has, once again, offered to come and give us the benefit of his experience CAMPING OVERNIGHT For the first year a few of us came on direct from the Stoneleigh Kitcar Show to Curborough on the Monday evening and camped overnight at the Curborough. Last year there were no takers for this but this year I will be staying at a local B&B to enjoy a few bevvies and a supper at nearby local hostelry. Just a reminder, it's the Chesire Monthly meet this Thursday, usual time and place, 7.30 - 8.00 pm, The Whipping Stocks, Knutsford. We'll go through Stoneleigh details for those of us going. It's next weekend folks!!! We'll also sort out a new date for the postponed Peaks Blat. -
Is anyone going to Race Retro at Stoneleigh at the end of February ? I've not been before, but it sounds like a good way to spend the day.
