  4. @Thrustyjust Looks like it on the "magic map". Will be much closer to paddock (and the bar) than the car park outside Quarry! Sure it will be glorious sunshine . Being realistic, I'll settle for dry(ish) anyway

  15. I have one of these on my Zetec Westie - installed by the previous owner. Although I've yet to test any of the claims of faster lap-times, it is extremely useful as a gauge to engine revs without actually taking your eyes off the road - the LEDs are bright enough to always be in your peripheral vision and the colours are very obvious as the revs increase. It really doesn't take very long before getting the hang of waiting for a red light, then a flashing red light, then change gear. Great bit of kit

  24. Hello, I'm now the owner of @mr_mcp Westfield. Picked it up on Saturday morning and drove it the 100 miles home. Managed to find a gap in the weather Sunday as well and get another hour in the seat. Joel, thanks for taking the extra time to show me round the car. It was great to meet you. Keep us informed on the Ultima build if it goes ahead.

  25. My daughter has got on well with her Skoda Fabia. Mixed motorway and country road driving, plenty of room for kit and there's plenty of custom/tuning gear around if she wants it. There's even a good Skoda forum (not as good here, obviously) in briskoda. Gary

  28. Get a Q reg car ...its easier!

  29. Don't have a car for you - sorry but just questioning your dislike of a q reg. When you own a car with a q reg, you don't have to worry about emissions at mot time - just smoke only. Then when you go for more power you don't have to worry about emissions... just the money
