  9. Good point Maurici, cut vinyl is easy to see no damage underneath, so should be fine. Think chin area as well is maybe not considered as critical but who knows. I have seen a scrutineer being very unhappy about a sticker on a helmet.

  10. that type of tooling in any toolroom is the norm nowardays. indexable inserts are much more econmical and last longer and can be specced for material specifics. weve just had a new trial cutter that can remove 5mm of tool steel at 15meters a minute.

  11. I do have a pretty big sticker in my carbon helmet (in the chin) and never been said anything about it in two years... Let me know what color you want the lawnmower... XD However, I think it will depends what kind of sticker and so. normally letering or logos, with cutted vinyl, will not be able to hide anything anyway as they don't have background. I would apply the common sense here.

  12. Appreciated but really no apologies necessary. It was a long time ago and in true bloke support style we are all very sympathetic taking every opportunity to point out that his survival is a continuing victory for science over biology. He's a keen cyclist too, so the irony is not lost... I do agree that with so many top athletes claiming to be asthmatic the impression is that it is not serious. I have seen my friend have a proper attack and whilst I am not usually easily bothered by "events" that make many squeamish, it was pretty damn scary. But once the EMT's got some steroids in him, the ribaldry resumed and we nicked his bike...

  14. One of my previous managers died from asthma. It really can kill. It's about time they stopped all this 'medication' in sport. It's cheating. Pure and simple.
