  1. No don't fit a turbo or supercharger. Every time I add a dollop of power they stick another chicane in. If you start it'll be a slalom next year

  2. Swap the clutch to standard who ever buys this. You don't need a paddle clutch in a Westie with this engine!

  4. Russ is fast becoming the Peak District pin up boy Cake, cake, heavenly homemade cake, this was the best Victoria Sponge Cake that I have ever tasted. This was before the Lemon Drizzle Cake and the Chocolate Cake came out. Dave, what did you do that meant you missed this one? oh heaven. Phew, that was my cake moment, I better talk cars, it is a car forum after all. Having met Andrew and Claire, Russ and Chris and Mo we took the 4 car convoy to GBS where we got the usual very friendly welcome from Ruth and the gang. Lots and lots of cars arrived, people were coming and going, some with goodies from the Kit Spares shop, some dodging into the factory and into the refreshment area. Everyone had a common interest, they all loved kit cars, so there was plenty to talk about. Not everyone was local, the East Anglia Kit Car Club came all the way from, erm, East Anglia and I heard that somebody had travelled from Fife, staying overnight of course. It was a great atmosphere. Hello Dom The sun shone and the event was a great success, thank you Ruth and Co. That took us nicely up to lunchtime, but not before we had a little photo shoot!!!

  6. I'll second that. I had a six puck and it was like an on-off switch.

  11. That was, quite possibly, the best track day I've been on. A fitting tribute.

  12. Grossglockner pass in Austria last week, well into the 20s Celsius even at 2500 M - lovely jubbly! Pasterze glacier in the background.
