  2. Thanks Dave - I had said in the thread title that it is an ECU for the Mega 2000, but your input, as always, is to the point and informative! It's worth pointing out that Omex has only just started to offer unlocked ECUs to owners of Mega S2000s, they have not made all parameters available, but there is a lot that is available to fine tune and monitor the engine's performance. The reason I changed was because of specific requirements regarding sensors I wanted to add to control the engine given the climate and fuel quality available here in Arizona, as well as the fact that my engine is a hybrid (or Frankenstein's monster) F22C/F20C, which caused a little complication in the mapping.

  6. Hi Nic, Oulton Park posted the tickets to me on Tuesday, but I'm away at the moment, home Sunday, so they will be in the post to all on Monday. That's the plan anyway.

  7. I like the taste of beer, but I have had to grow up to the fact that drinking x pints every night isn't good for me. Problem is I like the taste of beer. So endless soft drinks isn't really an option. I decided to explore the no alcohol options and I've tried a few, the ones I can remember are... Clausthaler Bavaria Erdinger Wheat Brewdog Nanny State San Miguel A few others… But they all tasted way too malty, almost like an Ovaltine... Except for Becks Blue... It does a reasonable job of passing for a lager. And I've really gotten to like it. So if you want a NA Beer, give the Blue a go...

  8. Hi looks like I.m back after almost a year trying to decide what to do with my car after the ROPS were changes by the MSA I,ve been through the shall I sell my car, stop hillclimbing, build a Spire, build a cobra, put her back into road trim, buy a Lotus, go drifting. Have all been considered, but looks like I'm back here still with my Westie in road legal track trim. Nothing else comes close

  16. Batsrads! I was there in my 1970 Midget in 1973 and learned very quickly to look out for dark patches on the roads in the Highlands. They were accumulated oil droplets where oil had been dropped from car undersides by the dips in the road shaking them off. My Midget had a ground clearance such that if I traversed a dip in the road at some velocity, the exhaust would ground and break the exhaust flare where it joins the manifold. See a dark patch, slow down briefly, then hit the pedal again! No sheep were harmed during the telling of this story...

  17. If I'm in the situation that requires low alcohol intake i'd rather have a couple of bitter shandies, cheap nasty bitters taste better than nice beers/ales when diluted as well, but can you get a pub to put diet lemonade in it, oh no!
