I’m not looking to spend a fortune, so I’m expecting an early FW.

I'm looking for a new project, and I'm planning on building a race car.

As such I'm looking for a chassis / rolling chassis / old race car / unfinished project / car in need of some work etc. As you can tell I'm pretty open to any options!!! Given it's going to be a race car it doesn't need a V5 etc...

Hi everyone, 

I've been a WSCC member for about 10 years. Sadly I had to sell my Westfield SEiW 2.0 Zetec tourer just over three years ago, but I'm now looking for another. I still want to be able to go touring, but this time I'm after something a bit more track focused.

Due to a certain mayor of London though, I now live in a ULEZ (ultra low emission zone) and have to pay £12.50 a day to use a non-compliant car. I've already got one car which isn't compliant and it's a real pain in the wallet, so there's no way I want another. That generally (but not always) means the new Westie will have to be post 2010, and on a regular number plate not a Q. If you're not sure if your car complies its easy to check by putting the number plate in here:

I've looked at a few ads but nothing says "I'm the one" yet. Maybe I haven't seen your ad, or maybe you're thinking of selling but haven't listed it yet. I'm sure just the right car is for sale out there somewhere, just got to find it.

Thought I'd introduce myself and say 'hello' 

I'm Nick, recently sold my TVR Chimaera that I'd had for almost 10 years. I finally realised if I want to experience lots of different cars I'd need to part ways with the TVR, it was a sad day but sometimes you just need to move on  I'm based down in Somerset near Bristol, pretty central and if like to get involved in the car club scene again. Took my 2 year old boy to his first car show recently and he's positively car mad, he loved it... this makes me a very happy Daddy, Mummy in the other hand, not so much 

Anyway, here I am, I've set my sites on a Westfield and I've been out in a few now so I'm getting a better idea of what I want. If anyone is thinking of selling their FW, preferably fully caged and in a mad colour then let me know (cage and colour not a deal breaker) Budget is around £18k and as much as I'd like a mad power car, I'm after the best condition car I can find over and above anything else. TVR chassis problems have scared me 

I have previously had a Megabusa and a Duratec engined Westfield (Orange and black and white and black)

I’m looking for another car, would consider any colour except green or red.

ideally looking for high powered Duratec engine 250bhp + but would consider something else 

ideally sequential gearbox too but not essential 

needs to be a road car that is used as a very fast weekend toy plus track days 

budget flexible for the right car that has had money spent on it

My brother (Joff Drake, posted on the Westfield Sportscars Facebook group) is searching for our old Westfield that my dad built way back in 1994. It passed to my brother's ownership and we are wondering if we can re-find it.  Appreciate this is a fairly long shot, but we'd be really grateful for any information.
