	We won't be there as we will be busy driving around the Peak District, but if you are nearby it's the Easter Events Launch this coming weekend at what looks to be a great place to visit for car clubs like the WSCC.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	It has a massive car park and a cafe making it a great place to meet like minded petrol heads, apparently Derek from Mathewsons will be there too.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Jacks Hill Cafe, A5 Watling Street, Towcester, NN12 8ET. Just between Silverstone and Northampton, if you go and you can, let us know how you got on, maybe add a photo or two.

	This is a chance to get up close to the Vulcan whilst the crew demonstrate some of the systems, explaining the operations and some of challenges of keeping everything working as it should. Towards the end of the visit we will be able to line up the cars under the Vulcan for a group photo. See the example pic below borrowed from another club!
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	This visit is scheduled to start at 1.30pm on Saturday 18th April, and should last approximately 2.5 hours.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	We are limited to a maximum of 24 people and 12 cars.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	This visit is being supported by the club for WSCC members by covering £5 of the normal £15 fee, leaving you £10 per person to pay. Due to the restrictions on numbers I will need bookings in advance, so please PM me your interest. Priority is to Warwickshire Area members first.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	There is a very good cafe on the airfield so I am proposing to head there for around 11.30am for brunch before the 2 minute drive to the Vulcan for our visit later.

	Join us and enjoy 130 miles driving around the spectacular Lake District National Park and 135 miles through the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. </p>

<p>
	You are at liberty to choose which day to explore the Lakes and which day you explore the Dales.  We will split into small groups to make keeping together easier and exploration less stressful - More time to enjoy the views rather than worrying about where the car behind has gone!

The deal is for £7.95 you get a full English breakfast AND a hot drink in the cafe, that's not bad hey? Coates award winning sausages included, made from Packington free range pork.

</p>

<p>
	Meet at 10am, Sunday 22 March, DE56 2HE

<p>
	After breakfast we will head off into the Peak District to enjoy the better weather and the drier roads, no fog this time perhaps. This is the WSCC part of the meet, so to keep it fair, paying members only on the run out please.

	Bookings are now open for this year's <a href="https://www.popupcarshows.co.uk/kit-sports-1" rel="external nofollow">L2B kit car run</a>. Once again its on the same Sunday as Malvern but from where we live its its quite convenient to take in Malvern on the Saturday then travel to Brooklands later in the day ready for Sunday.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I've just made our booking and requested a departure time from Brooklands of 0900-0930. This will be our 5th consecutive L2B so we obviously enjoy it! <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/profile/23180-steveb21/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="23180" href="https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/profile/23180-steveb21/" rel="">@SteveB21</a> and <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/profile/22531-morris/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="22531" href="https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/profile/22531-morris/" rel="">@Morris</a> have also joined us on recent runs so if anyone wants any more info on the event I'm sure we'll all be happy to respond.
