right chaps,at our last north east westy meet a few of us thought it would be a good idea to try and organise a Trackday up in the north east but hopefully get some of the other Areas to come up and join us and make a day/weekend of it

One of the lads I used to race karts with  organises the Ford RS show at Croft on the weekend of June 8/9th he does so every year ,  its a great weekend with loads of stalls, beer tents food stands, concourse competitions for all fords so always some nice Mk 1 and 2 Escorts cossies ect race and rally cars  to drool over. along side the Rs show they run trackdays on the Saturday and Sunday which are always a hoot to watch as there as some fast cars turn up .

I have been offered our own area of the paddock where we can all park up and show our cars and our own private track  session, It will be  one session on circuit  per hour I think it is 20 minutes allowing a maximum of 25 cars, croft is a large fast circuit so will take 25 cars easily especially if they are all 7 type cars and if all 7"s there will be no mobile chicanes .

the circuit hire is usually  £10,000 per day  :o  :o  :o  :o  :o  but the last couple of years the Rs trackday on the Saturday has been running at a loss so my pal has offered me this session for the bargain price of £2500 which is £1100 less than what it costs him!

just to clarify there will be no other cars other than the ones we invite in this session , so you do the maths if we can get enough interest we could potentially if we get 25 cars  have out own private trackday for £100 a car  usually noisy  trackdays at croft are £250 so this is an absolute  bargain at one of the top Uk circuits. even if we only get 20 cars £125 is half price

For this to go ahead I need people that are interested to post on this thread early or we will miss out but please no cockers If you not sure you want to go dont post and pull out .

So June 8th Saturday 105db noisy day :t-up:  price will depend on how many we get but I know prob half a dozen outside the club that will come so please note your interest early if you want to be in on it.
