I had the same on my wunoff - I used one of these (modified by reducing the height to get the right diameter) - then got someone who could weld stainless to stainless - worked very well and strengthened this weak point considerably. (I didnt have the brace like yours - so the idea may not be feasible,)

There is a range of sizes and diameters to choose from.

Yeah it's definitely repairable,personally I would get some other braces added like the one that's on there.

If poss get two extra added would be my choice :)
