GaryR1983 Posted March 4, 2018 Share Posted March 4, 2018 I washed loads of bits in the dishwasher prior to painting during my rebuild including my complete diff assembly. sadly the plug blocking the breather came loose allowing the diff case to fill with water and the dishwasher to fill with the remaining diff oil. the diff had to be rebuilt completely and the dishwasher took a few cycles to get back to smelling normal. her indoors forgot all about it when she spotted the rear uprights in the oven being prepared for new bearings.
