Rover K series engine value?

Does anyone know roughly what my motor would be worth?

1.8 Scholar 'Evo 2' Block
Omega Hi Comp forged pistons
DVA Power EU2 Head with Paul Ivey Valves
Piper 285 cams
Piper verniers
Solid lifters
Dry sump pump with 1x pressure and 2x scavenge
Custom 4-2-1 Manifold and exhaust
Jenvey DTH throttle bodies

The engine has made 200bhp - 150lb/ft on two separate occasions at Emerald.

Current rev limit is 8000rpm.

I guess the market for this engine might be more focused at the Lotus/Caterham boys?

I thought you were going to run it in the speed series. If not its worth £3.47 i will be round tonight to pick it up :t-up:

i wouldn't like to put a value i have receipts for the build and re-build of my 1600 k and its strong money so its really what you would be happy with.

£3.47 stands though if you get no offers:getmecoat:

Try it on the MGF / TF Facebook pages or the MGF register forum. There are plenty of people tuning them now.

Also on the MG car club sites, as a lot of people fit the K series in MG Midgets and MGB's.

Hope this helps

Even somewhere like Seloc , the Lotus forum would get  buyer. Most MG owners are spending their money fighting rust and crap build quality now or putting some shoddy bodykit on dogs , as seen in the kitcar mags :d
