TAFKARM
One of the first on the scene of another accident - a car had a hit a verge on a country lane. Engine still running, front wheels off the ground and still spinning - no other vehicles involved. Immediately checked the car for casualties - a young girl in the back, in her pjs crying and no one else around, no driver to be seen. Thankfully no serious injuries except a bloodied nose. Turns out, she'd been asleep in the back of the car, her mum had nipped into the shops and either left it running or left the keys in. Some scooter then jumped in, nicked said car, drove 10-15 miles, crashed it and done a runner. I mean WT actual F,. Her mum must have been out of her mind, and the poor girl was obviously terrified. Theres a lesson to be learnt in that story.
