doddy1611
Hi, New member here. Purchased a 1998 factory built 1.8 zei back in November last year. The car was a barn find which had lay untouched for 10 years. Following a light restoration, the car is now back up and running. Look forward to many miles this year in the car!

Thrustyjust
Car looks fab. Amazing how these cars are just left unloved for such long periods of time. Glad you have it, welcome to the club and enjoy the car.

Kevin Wood
This is mine the day it first rolled out of my garage 18 years ago. It's the only image I've got access to currently. Even the blocks on the driveway match1 It now looks mostly the same but with a few battle scars. It's neither a ZEi or factory built and runs a tuned 2.0 Zetec. I hope it gives you as much fun as mine has.
BigSkyBrad
@doddy1611 Hi. I've got a 1999 1.8 ZEi in black, factory-built, but was fully-optioned from new - V8 bonnet, contour dash, boot lid, chrome suspension etc. Because your photo of your car after the refurb is flipped, I'm guessing you have an underslung exhaust (which I've recently got rid of - exhaust and manifold weighed 25kg).
