Aintree was close to being dropped but had a historically ( over last 5 years) better attendance than Wiscombe or Barbon

When we had both Wiscombe and Lys Y Fran in the calendar they had minimal support as you know 

Looking back to old results from 2007 Wiscombe struggled then with 4 entries but Llandow and Lys Y Fran were both very well attended. 

28 entered Llandow and 18 Lys Y Fran

I don't know if this was because there was also a club track day at Llandow on the Friday.

BARC (Wales) lost their Llandow event due to a corporate booking which brought in more cash. Think I was there in 2007 when it was well attended particularly combined with Lys y Fran on the Sunday
