Picked up the westy today. Didn’t get a wink of sleep last night I was that excited!! Massive thanks to @RussH for all the help, support and guidance throughout this journey and for the time freely given to assist me find the right car.

Anyway, I bought a Kingfisher Blue SEIW with a tuned 2l XE engine. The car is absolutely epic.....I love everything about it and so does the Mrs! I bought the car from @john10speed and it’s a known car within the club. Looking forward to getting my head around what’s what and meeting a few of you at events through the warmer weather.

Heres a few piccies.......

Boghouse Blue is a cracking car. I have told John he was mad to sell it but he has a hankering for an S2000 Westy I think.

You will not be disappointed with it :t-up:

Oh dear.

As much as I do love my S2000 Westfield, I regularly miss the XE powered, which was built at the same time as Scott Beeland built the Bog House, and I know from many conversations at the time, the spec, way back then was very similar.

A standard Mega S2000 will feel quite flat by comparison. (Very similar bhp, way less torque than the Boghouse, and much heavier, in an equivalent spec).

Jim however has got a fantastic car, a really good old school Westfield with one of the classic late eighties/early nineties Motorsport engine’s.

Hi Jimbobtcc,

First of all congratulations on securing ownership of THE Boghouse.

I owned it before John and had 8 years of great fun and many miles from that car, If you get half of what I had from it then you'll do ok .  :d

Hopefully see you around.
