@Olliebeak The book arrived today and what a book.

Only had a quick flick through but the pictures and photos are so interesting.

I am going to love reading it.

Thankyou also for the hand written note.

What a great package you have put together . :t-up::t-up:

@Garyt @Ali and Gail spoken with a certain lady in the Orkneys today.

All I can say is that it will be the best time ever up there and it’s already started to be a bonkers adventure.

What a trip. :) ;)

Route for the first full day.

Ruined castles, steam trains, waterfalls, fish and chips, Ben Nevis, Braveheart village, Harry Potter and lots of other places of interest on this route.

Currently on Outer Hebrides, but did quite a bit of the route to Glencoe (and on to Skye) in our motorhome, last week. Look out out for sizeable potholes, and "ploughed Tarmac" in your Westies! Finding most of the roads north of Glasgow/Edinburgh pretty rough in places to be honest. Still stunning place to visit though. Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the update.

The past few years the roads on Skye have  been getting worse.

Outer Hebrides sounds brilliant. Can you post up some pictures.

I did get prices to take Buttercup to the Shetland Isles but so expensive.
