Greenstreak-Andy D
@neptune I sold my MCT to the owner of Spyder Cars http://www.spydercars.co.uk/ They use the MCT box on their Elan build. Worth a phone call. Think chap was called Tony, but I’m hopeless at remembering names! Alternatively Blat chat or Lotus Elan chat room? http://www.clublotus.co.uk/lotuselan.aspx

Pascal_44
Hi Neptune, I have a question about the ratios , do you mean that it's standard MCT75 ratios or standard MT75 ratios ? I understood that MCT75 is an upgrade with a closed ratios 😲 Could you clarify the ratios of the gearbox ? Many thanks in advance
Kingster
The MTC 75 as supplied by Westfield is usually a Mitchell Cotts gearbox and uses the exact same ratios as the MT75 - so no close ratios. I think there is an MTC gearbox made with better ratios but as @neptune states this one has std MT75 ratios, then I’d say it’s not one of those

Many thanks in advance Hi Pascal, This box was originally supplied by Westfield in a factory built car with a duratec engine. Sorry I have no idea what the ratios are. The MT 75 was a gearbox with integrated bell housing as I understand, where as the MCT75 is a gearbox without bell housing. Perhaps someone else would be able to advise ratios.
