I had not realized our cat was asleep in the green house when I got the garden shredder out, when I turned it on I heard a crash and saw the cat shoot off across the garden. He'd been that shocked by the sudden noise he'd run straight out the green house door, without realizing it was almost closed, leaving a cat shaped hole in the glass. I bet he had a sore head for a while, poor thing, we did not see him for quite a while and from that point forward I did check to see if he was around before using the shredder.
