Recommendations for a motorhome friendly site

Near sea would be nice, pub restaurant easy walking distance.

Here's a site on the coast in Dorset that we've used regularly with the motorhome over the last few years;

It's at Eype, just outside Bridport. 

 

Beautiful sea views, 15 minute coast path walk to West Bay (small port), onsite bar and restaurant (menu can be found on the web page; we haven't tried the restaurant), 10 minute walk to gravelly beach, motorhome friendly, 10 min drive to Bridport (there's a car park on Tannery Road at the bottom of the high street that will accommodate motorhomes, and they will fit into the car park at Morrisons on the outskirts of Bridport too), excellent facilities including indoor pool.  It's a good starting point for exploring the Jurassic Coast, including Lyme Regis and Chesil Beach.  It's a little pricey and you may be subject to booking a minimum of 3 nights.  There's plenty more detail on their web page.

 

The following site, slightly further west, is owned by the same company and has a pub within easy walking distance (and just about on the beach).  We enjoyed this site in the motorhome too, but have not tried the pub.
