The Gold Cup meeting at Oulton Park is on the 27th to the 29th August. The Westfield Club have again been invited to attend and entrance is free for car and driver.

Let me have your name, address and Westfield registration number by the 14th August.

This is the Gold Cup format.

The Oulton Park Gold Cup will once again return on August bank holiday weekend (27-29 August) and it returns with an amazing racing line up featuring Super Touring Cars which will recreate the fierce battles of the 90’s, the Derek Bell Trophy, which recalls the Gold Cups of the 1970s, in which Formula 5000 and Formula 2 cars regularly competed for the prestigious trophy. Historic Formula Junior’s and Formula Ford machines will be amongst the other single-seater categories in action. GTs and tin tops will also compete, from 1970s sports-prototypes in the Martini Trophy, to the frequently sideways Lotus Cortinas and Mini Coopers in the Historic Touring Cars.

Away from the track there will be a large artisan market with over 60 stalls, a WWII military display with static Messerschmitt and Spitfire, Historic BRISCA stock cars will take to the special stage, a Concours d'Esprit courtesy of SCR Cheshire will be on display, live jazz music will play throughout the weekend and, as always, a huge collection of special cars will take over every inch of our infield, this and loads more family entertainment will make this years’ Gold Cup even bigger than before!

Westfield Club members will be entitled to park in our special display area and will receive free entry for the driver over the weekend (please note that passengers will need to purchase tickets through our website, children under 13 go free), you will then receive vehicle registration specific car passes and one weekend ticket per car for the driver.

You say Westfield club members get in free, would a club member who is a passenger also get it free or is it just Westfield car and driver.

"Westfield Club members will be entitled to park in our special display area and will receive free entry for the driver over the weekend (please note that passengers will need to purchase tickets through our website, children under 13 go free)"

Passengers have to pay, even if they are club members.

I guess camping will have to be paid for?

I can't see a way of just paying for camping as it is an upgrade to a ticket purchase, can anybody advise how this is done?

Cheers Ian
