I have been a Westfield owner and member of the WSCC since 1999. It is heart breaking to sell this car, as it has provided me many years of trouble free motoring including many trips to Le Mans, unfortunately due to work and other interests I’m finding I no longer have the time this car deserves. Recent years have barely done 500 miles a year. The car is a real head turner and attracts a lot of attention. Would like to see it go to a new loving home and get driven a lot more than it has been. The car will be supplied with a full build manual, receipts and original invoices from the factory. I'm 5ft 9 and I fit comfortably in the car. Asking price £10500 ono. 9. This is a "stalled" rebuild by my late brother-in-law from perhaps ten years ago. It is a rolling chassis with a "scrap" 1650 crossflow engine and a partly fitted set of body panels following a Weber blow-back fire (limited to side of engine bay). Westfield would only sell full set of panels at £700. Parked in Dewsbury under a waterproof cover which failed some time ago. Many used parts. Selling on behalf of his widow.

    SOLD. Westfield SEi, DK22CLX

Now sold. Almost a barn find. The complete kit was purchased from the Westfield factory between 1992 and 1994. Everything brand new, engine, gearbox, diff, chassis, body, seats, suspension etc. A complete car. Unfortunately the original owner passed away before the car was even a rolling chassis, a few aluminium panels and some suspension parts fitted. It then went from enthusiastic owners with good intentions, ending in storage with no further progress. Acquired by me in 2021, unfortunately mice had taken a liking to the leather sports seats so these were re-trimmed by an ex Bentley coach trimmer. The car is now fully built to a very high standard to the car you see today. The 1600cc CVH engine had never run. Twin 40 DCOE Webers and a tubular exhaust manifold. Type 9 gearbox and Sierra open diff, both brand new, not reconditioned. A Westfield remote is fitted to place the gear-lever in line with the steering wheel. A classic look, black bodywork, swept wings, chrome, red leather seats and leather dash, VDO instruments, full safety harnesses. 13" newly powder coated minilites with new Uniroyal tyres make the car look superb. The engine was started for the first time in early 2022, still with the original running-in oil. IVA time, and the car passed, despite many saying that a CVH on Webers wouldn't pass emissions. But it has. Oil changed at 400 miles to Castrol synthetic. Registered on a 22 plate as a brand new car, so no MOT needed for three years. The car is exceptional, classic bodywork, so much in favour now, superb looks, drives like a Westfield should drive. This car deserves an enthusiast, so no test pilots or tyre kickers thanks. Arrange your own insurance if you want to drive it. Car is located in Warrington, please message for more info or to arrange a viewing. £14,500 for a brand new car on a 22 plate. Wow. Graham. aka Grizzlee.

    Sold Westfield Megablade

**** Sold **** Hello all, I am reluctantly selling my 64 plate westfield megablade. (Honda fireblade 919 engine) ***UPDATE car passed its MOT at lunts heath tyre & exhaust centre 25.05.22*** I bought it 2-3 years ago with the intention to turn it into a more track focused car but sadly it has sat in my parents garage ever since buying it. since having my daughter 18 months ago my time has well and truly evaporated. We now need more space and are trying to extend our house and so any assets I have, have to go . I bought the car roughly three years ago for £9,750 I have no idea what the market value of these things is now so I'm waiting to see what offers I get. Car is booked in for an MOT on Tues (24th May) so will update the Ad when I have the certificate or any feedback to anything that comes up. Everything is in good working order, car starts and drives absolutely great. Since I've owned it other than putting maybe 1-2 hundred miles on it I was able to resolve the couple of niggles that needed doing. I externally mounted the oil pressure sender away from the engine block as the high reving nature of the engine rattles them to death quickly if they are mounted directly to the block as previously had been done. Also I relocated the reg/rectifier to a spot with better airflow and mounted it to a heat sink to aid cooling. Previous location was sub optimal to say the least. Also changed the clutch to heavy duty plates whilst I was doing these jobs as well as oil and filter. Only negative really from my ownership is somehow a small rip to the vinyl on the passenger seat has appeared. can be seen on the photos. The Car also comes with the weather gear unfitted (full hood and doors). However my intention was to make it a track focused car so I never even looked at fitting it myself. The new owner can decide what direction he/she wants to take the car as to whether to fit it or not. The Car also has the westfield reverse box fitted The Car has done almost no milleage 423 miles showing on the clock. I was unable to track down the actual builder of the car but the previous owner like me intended to strip it back and make it a track car and never did anything with it so the milage seems genuine. Unfortunately as I have been unable to track down the original builder I do not know the original milage of the fireblade engine but there are no signs of chronic use or anything like that, the engine runs well and sounds sweet. Any further questions I'll do my best to answer them as quickly as possible. thanks for reading, Alex 07921066051 Widnes (near Liverpool)
  14. I have decided not to continue with the AJ30 engine swap so its for sale. What I have is and what it cost me so far:- AJ 30 3.0 engine from a 2002 S type jag with 90k on the clock (No documentation to prove this) The engine has had covers and sump removed and all looks good inside. Bearing end caps removed and again all good. Compression test performed, albeit on a cold engine and all six cylinders were the same. Test can be performed again with the potential buyer if required Cost me £600.00 Rocketeer parts:- Sump with baffles and modified pick up - £576.00 Water pump bracket £18.00 Engine to gearbox adapter plate £462.00 Flywheel £510.00 Oil spigot adapter £24.00 Other items Oil filter £9.00 Spark plugs £30.00 ST200 throttle body purchased and then machined from 60mm to 65mm £230.00 Alternator adjuster and belt £40.00 Davis craig 115 pump with controller and hose £125.00 ST220 lower manifold - £50.00 New starter motor £62 Denso type alternator £75.00 ST200 manifold extensively modified £150.00 Exhaust manifolds For ST200 not ideal but a good starting point £187.00 This has all cost £3148.00 plus gaskets, paint and other consumables so I am probably £3300.00 into this project. So what I would like is £2200.00 Which is basically the rocketeer parts and the engine and all the other goodies and labour are being thrown in. I may split depending on the offer. This project needs to finish:- Wiring, Emerald make an ecu with loom to wire you own or they will make one for you. Engine mounts need fabricating but the plates have been fitted to the engine. Finish off the exhaust weather you want single or twin exit. There are a few of these conversions done now and there is lots of expertise on this forum to assist.
