  1. And now for something completely different........ I'm a fan of the US magazine "Grassroots Motorsports" and almost always like their take on car stuff. Late last year they sponsored a "Show us your shop contest" with three categories - small, large, and commercial. One of the prizes was a welding machine and I would love to be able to weld car projects so I cleaned my place up, took a few photos, wrote a description and sent the whole mess in. I was surprised and pleased to learn that I won the small category and a new welding machine, along with some other cool stuff, is on its way to Bozeman. I look forward to the print article coming out in a few months so I can send a copy to my mom! If you'd like to see the online article you check it out here - https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/ar...ers-announced/ Now it's time to go back into the shop and make it dirty....dirtier maybe? Dave

  2. Hi Everyone, After recently selling my beloved motorbike, I have decided the time has come to start having fun on 4 wheels I'm going to look at a 2002 Megablade later this week ... whether I buy that one or not, it's now only a matter of time until I have my first Westfield! I'm sure this place will be invaluable in my new venture (I'll be a fully paid up member as soon I have the car). Thanks in advance for all the help, and for answering my stoopid newbie questions! 3. Hi Chris, welcome from another Chris who went from a 35 year love affair with fast bikes to a new found soul mate in my Westfield! All I can say is it’s been a revelation to me and I hope you find it just as amazing!

  4. Jill made one for me to my design (seiw Seight T5 box) Pass side has the standard pouch but the drivers side pocket is lower so it hangs under my leg and clear of my knee. The tunnel top pouch sits between the seats but forward of the handbrake. It works very well. Same measurements for me. 28 and 21. Kenton

  8. I've fitted the metal version and I just had to remove all the foam packing around the original matrix and pack it slightly differently. The issue with my original plastic / metal matrix was that there is a plastic plate that holds the hose connectors against O ring seals in the matrix and this is a bit feeble, allowing the connectors to flex, so it's possible that this could be improved. Fitting the all metal matrix resolves this issue as the hose barbs are an integral part of the matrix.

  9. Every young person I know or have known, who had a car bought for them, ended up crashing it within a few months. You don't appreciate something until you have to pay for it..... Which I think one reason why standards of driving are so bad right now, nobody actually owns their cars these days, all rented/leased.
