  3. I'd rather stick hot pins up my jacksie! Currently it's back to back episodes of Grump Central a.k.a. Dalziel and Pascoe on 'Home' channel (Freeview 25).

  5. Like a few others I've caught the upgrade bug and fitted a second pair of tail and stop lights to my FW body. I found them for £63.20 for the pair, including VAT and delivery from Maxparts.biz. They are the same Dasteri DSLR400STL12 units fitted by Westfield. (And close to half the price of everywhere else.) On the Dasteri website the DSLR400STL12 shows only 10 LED's but these are the 12 LED's as provided in the Westfield kit. The center reflector is slightly larger than the hole (59mm against 58mm) but a little careful sanding of the reflector outer edge got a good fit. They are not on the Maxparts.biz web site but ring 01252 512 148 and ask for Rob or David. They came next day.

  8. Blimey , one week to panel and get as far as that, is impressive. As for keeping them occupied, I just let my son carry on with his Xbox, it was easier

  14. Yes, I bought it for my ecoboost project but might be using another solution so it might be available in a few weeks. I'm just getting my engine mounts made which will finalise heights. I will let you know.

  16. My cards are unsigned but all the address labels are printed and stamps bought. I send them on 30 November and get amusingly irritated calls and messages from friends and family in early December. What else is Christmas for? Also bought half a dozen of these for a few choice deserving people to receive anonymously (NSFW language) https://www.comedycard.co.uk/collections/rude-christmas-cards?page=1

  17. Nice to see you back Q. One thing to add, is to check the ovality of the big end on the spun rod, as it could cause issues if it isnt within tolerance. Other than that, are you honing the bores and fresh rings ? It would be better than running the old rings on bores after they have been removed.

  20. Sorry for taking such a long time to comment - been to the dentist and lost. Thanks to Julie for running the competition. It was clearly worthwhile letting you taste that salted caramel cake! Well done to Ali & Gail. Quite remarkable. You must have mastered the ‘travelling light’ needed to be away so long in a Westfield. Three days away has been our limit so far! Thanks again Andrew & Clare
