  2. Here is a Saturday night treat for you then, as @Captain Colonial managed to miss them, I give to you Ladies in Lycra on the OVO Energy Womens Tour. Rule number 1 - find a hill Bottoms up The story goes that the bicycles are worth more than the car that they are fastened too. It dried up later and it's a good job it did, those olde worlde cobbles are lethal Later on in the day I had a go at the Virtual Cycle Challenge and made it to 19th and the 3rd fastest female, it closed shortly after, so I nearly won a cycle shirt, not bad for 45 years old and wearing tight jeans. I can't breathe in them, never mind cycle in them! I also got to try out an OCULUS. I will let you google that one, but take my word for it, you will all be putting one on your Christmas list, they are fantastic. The Ostrich on the advert wears one. Now, where is my Westfield, I am getting withdrawal symptoms.

  5. Unwise. From a safety point of view, they're not dangerous per se, but you'll get into trouble fast with something like that on there, if you're not very careful. but the thing I just don't get, that is absolutely beyond me. Is who would invest upwards of thirty grand on a performance car of such extreme power to weight ratio, with no modern driver aids what so ever and then put tyres like that on there. If you want that sort of dynamics, then save yourself a bundle, buy a 1.6 Sigma powered car and put a set of 5" wide wheels on with tyres to match, then you can have all the tale out fun you want, without the warp drive acceleration of a Sport 250, to get you into trouble at big speeds.

  8. Hi, Ive just joined the Club and could do with a little help. I have purchased S2000 engine to build the Mega S2000, I think its a 2003 I have the log book of the car but the engine had been swapped, I have located the Engine number F20C2 10303XX stamped on the block. What do I need for the IVA and can I find the year from the code number. Any advice appreciated, Rich

  9. Having an aero screen and being to big (read wide) for half doors in an SE, I find in the wet the car starts to fill up with water even with holes drilled. After opening the holes up I found surface water was coming in from underneath. I am not sure if there is an off the shelf solution for this but to justify my 3d printer purchase I came up with this. I am going to try firstly to bond it with PU and if they come off then PU and 4 small rivets.

  18. Beautifully put. So many benefits as well. Half the cost to buy/build/run. I'm not kidding either 33K, wow Lighter. A better type of engine for this type of car. Won't swap ends and try to kill you at every island. Doesn't make me physically sick whenever the bonnet is removed. Turbo's are not natures way. Waiting for the hate mail......

  20. Revised list: Names in are: Kevin Bernie Mike Dean Ken (his car survived but needs some TLC) Barry (if sh*t stops happening, but sounding less hopeful!) Dave (but that's just hearsay, nothing confirmed) Rob (leaving his tin top at the Lodge and looking for a passenger seat, if Dave ISN'T coming)

  25. Woke up still knackered with piles of washing to do and a house that needed cleaning and a neglected garden so we did the right thing and deep cleaned Mrs P. 2500 miles and she never missed a beat. After that I took the Hog out for a blast, sometimes 2 wheels and that noise, well those that have bikes as well know what I mean. Best of both in the garage I guess.

  26. Thanks Andy. That does look really nice, and to be fair, not that expensive for what looks like superb quality. Might be the best way to go. Many thanks, Gary.

  31. I've planned a route that will take us on back roads from the Lodge to North Weald via - Bicknacre, Danbury, Sandon, Great Baddow, Galleywood, Margaretting, Fryerning, Blackmore and Onger. 32 miles and Co-Pilot says 90 minutes (not a chance!), but it would be good to be leaving the Lodge at 8.30 sharp.
