Nick M
In other news... A recent test at a top secret military facility revealed that Westfields have, unknown to many buyers and the police farce, been incorporating stealth technonology into their cars for many years. The test, involving at least two Westfields and a current police issue laser speed meauring device, revealed that it is actually pretty hard to get a speed measurement on an aeroscreened Westfield, especially when the car is approaching the camera. In one test the Westfield got as close as 30m before a speed reading could be taken. When targetting the rear of the cars the stealth tests were less successful, and the colour of the car appears to have some part to play in this process. The operator of the device pin-pointed silver cars as being particularly vulnerable. When questioned, Westfield declined to comment on the findings, citing the Official Secrets Act, but your reporter has noticed a worrying increase in the activity of black helicopters flying over his house and of Mercedes with darkened windows parking in his road.... geelhoed
Since the numberplates are an official document you can not alter them in any way. It is therefor fraudulous to spray anything on them and the justice department will prosecute you(at least here in the netherlands)
Blatman
Assuming they can prove that you've sprayed something on there... I hope. Innocent until proven guilty, and all that...
DickieB
There seem to be an increasing number of speed cameras around here with orange bags over them saying "Not in Use". Seems like a good wheeze that would not get you into as much trouble as spraying them/burning them etc....
geelhoed
spraying them/burning them etc.... Best thing is to fill them with Polyurethene foam, there was even a club called the tuftuf club who organised the destruction of cameras. Obviously I don't agree with them. Coxy
Could never understand why speed cameras dont have a black mask and a bag with 'SWAG' written on it.... bl**** highway robbery how ever you cut it.
Jay m A
LOL at the advert. This special spray once sprayed over the whole plate as instructed, overexposes the section that the Reg No. is on - but somehow doesn't overexpose the section with the EU flag on it. Very clever
