Does anybody have, or know the existence of a drivers side only aeroscreen, I don't mean a normal one cut in half  :) .

I'm sure I saw one of the traders with one. Just trying to think which one!

Ah, should have said, ex-trader.

The post I was thinking of is here:

Worth trying to get in touch, perhaps, though obviously you can't pm him anymore.

I also had a feeling Aerodynamix might have done one of the Carbon blade type with a raised drivers side and minimal passenger side arrangement. Can't find it just now, but not done much of a search.

Ah yes I'd forgotten about the interchangeable screen from AA Composites, although I was thinking more along the lines which is shown on the Caterham.

I was wondering about using something like a motorcycle one, this one caught my eye purely because of the adjustable spoiler which could be raised when not wearing a helmet, I would have to mould a suitable lower frame though. https://www.bikehps.com/acatalog/60923_xl.jpg

But then again it might look a bit naff!

ETA I wouldn't have it as upright as on the bike, more like a Westfield Double bubble jobby

Or you could go really old school with a Brooklands one. http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/product/brooklands-aeroscreens-curve-top/

Got a pair of these on my car. Needs the right style of car though, with more chrome than carbon fibre weave not to look silly. They are very effective as aeroscreens. Some Caterhams have them too.

I made a single from a high level aeroscreen but offset the mounting bracket on the rear usually the mounting was directly on the middle so when I trimmed it in half the mounting would not be there , however a high level aeroscreen could be made and trimmed lower on the nearside of required .

I don't have any pictures of it unfortunately.

The westfield race series that Martin is mentioning uses (unless they have changed) a low level aeroscreen .

The gripe I have with the current aeroscreen is that the I don't sit central to the bubble, it needs moving to the right a couple of inches, I'm sure it's not just me/ my car.  It is that aspect which I'd like to get rid of.
