Davemk1 Posted July 24, 2016 Share Posted July 24, 2016 I did something silly today.....I took the yellow cap off my coolant header tank and set it right below the tank and then went for a drive. Not surprisingly it wasn't there later but was replaced by lots of nice sticky coolant! I see the parts shop shows a cap in stock but it looks different to the one I lost. The type I lost in shown in the attached photo. Is there any chance that anyone has a spare that they could part with and that would be willing to fed ex it express to the USA? I know this is a tall order - I have a race next weekend that is part of a season long series and I'd hate to miss it. Or - any chance that someone can tell me what the donor car is so that I might be able to search for a cap that will fit? I of course will be perfectly happy to pay for the cap and the express shipping and I'd owe you a very tall beer! The only car it was used on here was the 1997-2001 Cadillac Catera but I found a place that had the part and I'll have it on Tuesday.
