Self drive classic car hire

Hi all

I'm looking to hire a car for our wedding weekend in September, being a Westfield owner and therefore mega car fan I want to drive the car, not have someone just do a pick up and drop off. It's always been a dream of mine to have an amazing car that I'll likely never own to drive my lovely lady off into the sunset in!

I've got a big itch for a v8 but anything classic/vintage/aspirational would be great - as long as it has a roof says the wife to be!

Does anyone know of somewhere that cars can be hired from for reasonable lengths of time? Any recommendations out there?

I've done the usual Google search and there are a couple of options, but I'm just wondering if there's any experience, advice or suggestions from the wizened Westfield world to aid the search process! :d

Thanks

Barny

2CV? :)

They are old and have roofs and are not four cylinder, so meet your requirements.

A surprising number of places hiring them out. UK as well as France.

Ha ha! Thanks for the idea Jen, I can't fault your logic but it doesn't quite hit the aspirational button for me! Still looking, I have also looked at chauffeur driven wedding cars but they're so expensive!
