Rhett Turner - Black Country AO Posted June 28, 2016 Share Posted June 28, 2016 Wished I'd done what I did for the last world cup game and gone out in the Westi I had a lovely drive on quiet roads and timed it so that I got back just as it was finishing. Fair dues to the Icelanders they played well, England did not turn up though, were they just too stupid and arrogant to expect and easy match, I hope not. It's not as if you could say oh well they were unlucky or they were just out played (which they were) but it's the manner of their play, missing the ball, passing to the opposition, inability to keep the ball down and anywhere near the target, it was as though they had just been introduced to a new type of football and did not quite know what to do with it.
