dhutch
Get yourself a late cvh efi fw danielI have heard this before, even as crude as people using a piston drill to open out the holes. How can I tell what I am buying when looking on ebay? Is it for instance the case that any CVH with timing marks will be a late efi spec one? Is the ring gear on this correct for rwd setup? What clutch does it take? Anything else to look out for? Daniel
blue ass fly
A pillar drill will open the hole up The steel isnt hard Bolt pattern is the same as 1800 zetec so you use a 1.6/1.8 early mondeo clutch - that will have the same splines as a type 9 Or have it drilles to take a pinto clutch Ring gear is the same so re use starter The fw will have the timing marks on the back Ime sure ive got photos somewhere-ille dig them out

Will that bolt pattern match with the CVH flywheel (which I understand my be from a fwd cvh ?) I currently have on old engine? Or did they change throughout the years? JulianE
That will fit fine once you have corrected the hole size , as Steve says that is the only issue
