Hi Paul

Checked with 2gether and they were more or less the same as A plan so to were footman and Adrian flux were slightly cheaper but I'm messing about I think to save £8, hardly worth the move for and A plan are always really helpful too! I have one more to try but don't think it will be worth the change!

Cheers to you and Gerry

Hi all,

What proof do you provide to 2gether of your membership of wscc?

Easy - click on your user name in the upper right corner and select My Profile in the drop down menu.  You'll then get a page with your full details and membership number on it. :)

...or as one broker said "If you make a claim and when we check and find that you're not a member of WSCC when you said you were,  you've got no insurance!"

quite.  The number of people I know, including family members who think "the less they tell their insurance company the cheaper the quote" baffles me.

One such "family member" has just been banned after collecting 12 points (and a speed awareness course 12 months ago).  They're adamant that they're not telling their insurers because the premiums will go up.  I pointed out that they may as well not pay the premium in the first place as their insurance will be worthless.  No no they said, that's not legal.....! :bangshead:

What they mean of course is that they won't get "pulled" for not having insurance and so worth the risk of in the event of an accident getting caught telling porkies and all the grief that will come with it.

Interesting, is that recent?

I used to be with FP years ago and went back for a comparative quote this year, but they told me they didn't do kit insurance or even general motor insurance now, just caravan related policies. Fingers crossed I've misunderstood or been misinformed, as they were really good. (Not that I have any problems with my current A Plan cover, but I do like to compare renewals every so often.)
