CraigHew
As the sun's been shining all day over Whitchurch I decided to finish off my "winter service" by flushing the brake and clutch fluid out, then bleeding both. All went remarkably well, probably down to the help of the Sealey vs820 brake/clutch bleeder (currently £35 at Toolstop) which simplified things a lot. My main shock was the gray coloured (old) fluid that came out of the clutch system. Ye Gods it was manky. Anyway, it's now refreshed with some decent Motul fluid. My question is: being a closed system, what would make the clutch fluid discolour so much? Does it just discolour over time?
