My partner Jo, bought me a year subscription to EVO for xmas....woo hoo i thought! ....till we found they took the payment twice, 2 months later, still no magazine, not one! despite having reassurances by numerous emails a 2 phone calls of when i should have them! One refund came back, with no apology! I was told i could access digital version whilst i wait for the magazine. The app sort of works but hangs and crashes on the iPhone. Then i was told i could have an extra month for free, sounds good till i asked for confirmation of first copy and last copy...January till November I was told..... OMG, another email to explain there are 12 months in a year and plus 1 =13!! No magazines appeared, then told its just a digital subscription! holly cr@$p So with patience all but gone i made another call, complained and then just asked for a full refund! 6carjon Posted February 5, 2016 Share Posted February 5, 2016 Oh dear. I have evo digital and works fine on tablet. Never tried on phone think it would be hard to read. It's OK but to be honest it's lacking creativity and it's just more and more just rambling stories in far flung locations in cars you will never own. It's becoming increasingly coffee table and brochure Ware. There is little informative info or reporting and find myself skimming it looking for info. When my subscription expired a few years ago I reapplied and got 2 issues every month for a year, then for a number of years it came for free (1 magazine a month though). One month it stopped so I rang them, they told me I was on a free lifetime subscription that I must have won in a competition or through work or something, I hadn't, and they would restart it for me. I carried on getting the magazine for a few years more then it stopped again. Another phone call and I was told they didn't, and never had done Free subscriptions so I must subscribe in the normal way and pay for it.
