Terry Everall
The Harwood regs are now available on the harewoodhillclimb.com website We have managed to split class 37 into 2 classes so please highlight this on your application Class 37A This is for Roadgoing cars on 1A or 1B tyres any capacity Class 37B This is for Roadgoing cars on 1C or slick tyres any capacity

XTR2Turbo
Terry Do you know how the event is split? It seems there is a Saturday only event (practice and timed ) and a Sat / Sun BHC event which I assume is practice Sat and event Sun. Do we enter both days to do both WSCC rounds and our Saturday runs count as practice for Sunday? David
Terry Everall
Dave For us its two separate events with practice and timed runs on both days. ( at least thats how I remember it)
XTR2Turbo
OK thanks ... I have entered both
mark.anson
It doesn't matter how much i read their regs I don't understand them. They are poorly written IMO for example the Supplementary regs say 11 At the meetings on the 8 May and 3 July 2016, classes 1A—6D will not run, with the exception of class 5B. Im clearly missing something but I've emailed Jackie the entries sec for some clarification. !
XTR2Turbo
Likewise Mark. For us it is two days so I have entered both 7th and 8th but not clear the format and running order as for BHC I think Saturday is practice and Sunday timed. Do we get two practice and 2 / 3 timed on Saturday? Do we just get 2 timed on Sunday? David
Terry Everall
Mark is running his new OMS so he cant go in class 37A or 37B From memory I think we had 2 practice on Sat and 3 timed runs with 2 practice Sun and 2 timed runs
Scottish Bloke
I hope it is more free flowing for you guys than it was last year It was awful
windy
Well I'm confused. Do we have: 7th May practice & timed on the same day 8th May, practice on 7th May, timed on 8th May Are we supposed to enter both the above events? Does that mean, if entering both events, practice only takes place on the Saturday?
mark.anson
Mark is running his new OMS so he cant go in class 37A or 37B From memory I think we had 2 practice on Sat and 3 timed runs with 2 practice Sun and 2 timed runs As mentioned I had emailed Jackie Wilson the entries Sec in an attempt to clarify things but the email replyI got didn't really help so to that end I rang her up. From my own point of view running the OMS, I was in a position where Saturday wasn't a problem as I would just run in class 5A (Racing cars up to 1100cc)Runs would be as normal with two practice and two timed runs (or three if there was time) On the Sunday though I would have to enter class I with the BHC lot and would get only three runs even though i wasn't part of the BHC. Clearly I was a bit miffed as this is not value for money and the rest of the Westfields would be getting the standard two practice and two timed as I understand it. Obviously I want the same number of runs as everyone else in my championship. Jackie it seems didn't know that the WSCC has classes for non Westfield cars ! In a nutshell she has told me to put my entry in for Class 37 with the Westfields for now and she will sort something out a couple of weeks before the event to put me in a suitable class for the Sunday. I have said this is all causing a lot of confusion on the boardroom which she has taken on board. She even suggested that for next year the club would be better choosing another weekend which didn't clash with the BHC. Anyway below is a copy of the initial email reply I got from Jackie; For the British entrants it is a two day weekend, they just have 3 practices on Saturday and then a practice & competitive runs on Sunday. We have 2 guest classes that weekend, WSSC (class 37)and the Ferrari's (class 10). They run as two separate days, with separate results. Saturday is a round of the Harewood Championship and runs Harewood classes (classes 1A - 6C). Plus the British classes but practice only. Sunday is a British Championship event and runs BHC classes A - N plus class 26 for Yorkshire Centre B licence holders. Anyone who is eligible can enter the British classes if they have a Nat A licence, but there will be only 3 competitive runs. I had a conversation with Terry Everall this week and we discussed (and agreed) to split class 37 into Road & Non Road cars.
Terry Everall
Looks like the easiest thing for this year is to adopt your suggestion of an additional Class 37C for members of speed series not driving a Westfield (i.e. classes J1 ,J2 and J3 )
windy
Still confused Does paying £125 get me 2 scoring rounds (Sat + Sun) or do I have to pay £250? I've entered the Escort in class 37 and paid £250 so far. Have I messed up?
XTR2Turbo
Graham I have done the same and paid £250 It's not very clear
