Westfield SEIW 1.8 Zetec SOLD.

Tricky

Recommended Posts

For sale 1996 Westfield wide body in Westfields racing green.

I have owned this car for just short of 5 years and it's been a pleasure to own, very reliable and has seen lots of changes over the years, (one of the joys of owning a Westy) and I'm the 2nd owner (previous owner having had it for 15 years). It's covered approx 15,000 miles since being factory built of which I have done 12,500 of those. I've used the car mainly for road use although it has done 4 track days under my ownership.

The engine is a 1.8 zetec (silvertop) which has been in the car since July, it was built by a friend of mine and has covered less that 2000 miles from being bought as a basic refurbished engine from Ford. It has Kent cams, stage 2 polished and ported head, ARP rod bolts, raceline sump, lots of blue silicone hoses, Weber alpha throttle bodies and ecu and produces 180 bhp (Northampton motorsport print out available).

Suspension is avo with relatively new faulkner springs on the rear and standard Westfield springs up front, and sits on Compomotive CXR 13" wheels and Yokohama A048 tyres which are as new (done a few hundred miles), I do also have a set of racing dynamics 15" wheels available too these are fitted with Toyo R1Rs so there's options if anyone is interested.

Body work is in great condition and has loads of carbon fibre doted around it,

Carbon,

Dash

Wheel arch guards

Sill protectors

Chassis rail guards

Transmission tunnel top

Carbon fibre seats

Aeroscreen

Sabelt harnesses, rear diffuser, chassis is in first class condition as the car hasn't seen much bad weather due to not having a roof, though it does still have the heater fitted, it also has an extended steering column, (though this can be swapped back to the original length) I'm sure there's stuff I've forgot so please ask if you have any questions.

Offers around £8750.

Not sure at minute, too busy at work to do anything. Just seems a shame to leave it garaged and not used, that said not in a hurry to sell, would like it to go to a good home. ☺

Thanks for the nice comments guys, just seems right, wanted to sprint but goal posts keep moving and that means more expense. If it doesn't sell I won't be too disappointed as it's had a small fortune spent on it this year (£2500) and I haven't really spent that much time out and about.

James, likewise on the sale front, I'm sure you'll sell in good time.
