Show us your daily!

Apologies if there's already a thread on this, I couldn't see one...

I thought it was time for some appreciation of the daily in our lives. The workhorse. The family wagon. The motorway trudger. What have you got?

Here's mine:

A 2006 Impreza WRX wagon with the Prodrive pack. ~260 bhp, permanent AWD and a lot of fun to boot. I do about 25k miles a year in this (having got very bored of my previous BMW 5 series diesel!) and am loving it so far. An excellent contrast to the westy as well.

So go on, I've shown you mine... ;)

The weekday car for work...

2009 Alfa Mito Lusso 1.4, 120bhp but it's got a turbo !!!

I spend a lot of time driving in towns for work covering around 15,000 miles in the process so I wanted something non german and a bit different to normal that would be a pleasant place to be sat for hours but also ecconomical.

And the weekend car...

2004 Subaru Impreza WRX

Bought off another local WSCC member a couple of years ago and now only covering 4K miles per year. Completely standard 225bhp WRX.

I got bored of Five Series Tourings, as cars, they had just got too good, they were a pain on site too, usually resulting in me parking on lanes and walking the rest of the way in carrying all my gear.

So I went redneck and got a pick up. Absolutely love it and never looked back.

Came in handy last Autumn, picking up a replacement S2000 gearbox from over past Doncaster way. We'd had torrential rain for days and it hadn't let up, roads floode everywhere, in fact the Police were only letting vehicles with high ground clearance into the village near the Airport where the guy lived as the road had sixteen inches of standing water at one point.

All safely collected and and on the way home!

Knocked around in a Suzuki Grand vitara for years but decided I wanted something a little nicer but maintain the practicality and 4WD!

Absolutely love it!  Just a shame I crashed it 6 days after I bought it and not got it back yet!

The 1993 was my DD for 20 years. It became the donor for my Westfield when the 2013 arrived.

Love that Mito, I used to have an Alfa GT that I loved. Nearly went for a 159 Ti recently but in the end an incredible straight-6 diesel and RWD won out:

E90 LCI 330D M-Sport Auto. Can't beat it as a daily if you do a lot of miles with 245ps (map to around 290bhp and just under 500lbft), nice handling and I average 51.8mpg on a 40 mile journey to Warrington.
