Arm
Hi Any recommendations for obtaining location plans and site plans for a residential building application ? To attach to an outline planning application. Thanks
Mark (smokey mow)
The site plan is normally something you would have to produce yourself. it is a measured survey of the site, I typically draw mine at 1:100 and showing the relative position of site features, such as existing building, outbuildings, tress and boundaries etc. Location plans (typically 1:1250 or 1:2500) can easily be purchased either from the councils planning department (although not all offer this service) or through the planning portal. If there has been a development nearby then you can also search the councils planning website and print off a copy of the location plan used for that development.
