My Old Westfield

Hi not new to Westfields (built three now) and thinking of building a fourth (this time a XI) it occured to be to wonder where my old and best Westfield was now.

When I sold it it had a 1700 all steel BDA on fuel injection, a Quaife S/C 5 speed box and a lot of fancy electronics on it including traction control and launch control.

It basically went from a nice road car with a Lotus T/C to an all out Sprint/Hillclimb car that I competed in for about 3 years with a reasonable amount of success.

It was a Blue and Yellow car but it had light blue wishbones and roll cage which had been made with a lean of about 10° so that I could fit the standard hood for transportation.

The dash was carbon fibre and it had a Stack ST8100 dash, SPA rev counter and steering wheel with integral shift lights.

Registration number was Q937 MTW and I sold it to a guy called Joseph in the Midlands who had a stack of very nice racing parts everywhere.

Be nice to know if it still lives.

DVLA says last taxed Feb 2013 and it had an 1988cc engine - doesn't help much though.

I didn't think the BDA would stay in it for long, wish I'd taken it out and put it away for a rainy day!
