SOLD - Race Technology DL1 Mk2 Data Logger 20Hz & Dash3 Lite

Recommended Posts

Purchased second hand off this forum 2 years ago this unit was still fully boxed and new when I bought it as the previous owner had never fitted it in their car. The Dash3 is still new as I have never used it myself.

The DL1 has been fitted in my Westfield for the last 2-years behind the dash and away from the elements. I used it for basic logging of speed, position and G, but now with the JW4 I'm in the market for something standalone that I can more easily swap between cars, hence the reason for sale.

Fully working and includes the following:

DL1 Mk2 Data Logger 20Hz (this is £150 option over the standard 5Hz model)

Dash 3 Lite

2 Mounting Brackets

GPS Antenna

CF Card Reader

wiring Plug

Software

Serial Lead

Quick Start Guide

Offered for sale on here first for £400 posted within the UK (no offers) - Now Sold

Would you be prepared to sell the DL1 seperately, as I don't need the dash?

Thanks

Greg

Hi Greg, I'm afraid the dash3 isn't much use to me without the data logger so I wont be splitting them.

I would possibly take the Dash 3, what sort of money would you be after to split them up Mark? Cheers!

If I had a guaranteed buyer for both then i would be willing to let the Dash 3 Lite go for £100 posted and the DL1 for £350 posted.

Of course one of you also has the chance to buy the pair and then sell on what you don't want so as to make yourself some money :)

Cheers Mark. Yeah, that is true, or make one part cheaper for the other person :)

I would definitely have the Dash3 for £100, however it comes about! If I take the lot, would you have the DL1 for £300 (and a bit of postage) Greg?

This could get complicated...

Mark. I think these are a linked pair so the dash 3 needs the dl1 to operate

That's what I thought too. Are they locked together or can I stick that Dash3 into my DL1?

Might be easier to buy the lot and sell my DL1...

I thought it was just a case of configuring the DL1 for use with the dash 3, although having never used it I could be wrong.

The easy option as you say may be to sell your old one.

That's what I thought too, wasn't sure if they 'locked' together though (but then again I should learn to read since you say you've never used it, d'oh!).

I'll take them, will fire you a PM now

As I understand it, when bought together as a package (normally with a small discount) then somehow they are locked together. If the dash3 is bought alone then it can be used with any DL1

Martin who has been posting on here recently about his resurrected V8 build founded the company so may be able to clarify.
