scott_prelit now westfield_bumble Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 So i got a wing mirror kicked and damaged last night. its about the 8th time in years. Fed up. I have a pic of the little so and so from last night. i heard the thud and laughter and i jumped up and had a look out. 2 15yr olds further up the road. jumped in car with camera and got there pics as i drove past. turned round and they bolted up an old railway line. i was just in my jeans so didn't pursue as no shoes on or top so if they got a glimpse of me it will give them nightmares lol. Just waiting for the police to call on tuesday. (there not in much of a hurry) Anyone able to advise what i should be looking for in a home cctv system. I Think i will need 3 cameras possibly 4. 2 for the front as i live on an end terrace with road to the front and side. 1 car parked on the main road and 1 on the side road so 2 cameras to cover this and 1 for the rear yard to cover garage side door and possibly 1 inside garage as i cant place a camera to cover the main garage door. the simpler to use the better so a hdd systema s dont want to be messing with discs everyday thx. DE04* Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 Maplins 4 HD cameras with a 1 T HDD. Was under £600,good pictures,i have a semi detached 3 cameras around the house and 1 in the garage. Very easy to install and can watch on smart phone if your away from the house, I have 1 feed to my TV and another feed to a moniter in the bedroom so you can see during the night,very pleased with it. Lyonspride Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 Gotta be careful with cameras, they work best as a deterrent, but if they start spreading word your a pedo, you could have serious problems when a "concerned parent" starts gobbing off to the local meat head. Kit Car Electronics Posted February 21, 2015 Share Posted February 21, 2015 Had this problem myself a few years ago. My wife and I gave chase and caught the little sods - a girl and two boys. The girl started fighting and ended up with a punch from my wife and a ripped dress from my separating them! The biggest surprise came 2 days later when we found the girl working in the local travel agency- with a great black eye! Eventually they grew up, but no doubt they'll be replaced.
