I would just like to introduce myself, my name is Steve and I have been quietly observing the kit car scene for some years now, telling myself one day... Yesterday I ordered my S2000 starter kit and I am one happy chappie. I am in no rush to complete, I am looking forward to the build probably slightly more than driving the car and have already received some very wise advice last weekend when I met some of you in Tewkesbury. I signed up as a fully fledged member to the club this morning! Between now and kit collection date, I have some work to do preparing my single garage! I have taken great interest in reading the current S2000 build threads, if I can do half as good a job as you guys I will be very pleased. I will definitely be attending Stoneleigh this year and would like to get out to some meets and if its OK pick all of your brains as my build progresses! Cheers, Steve. Between the Boardroom and your local Area meets you'll find plenty of people ready to answer most questions that can come up! Don't be afraid to ask either; sometime people worry about whether they're asking stupid questions, or asking something that's been asked before. There are no stupid questions and it doesn't matter if it's been covered before - sometimes answers change as new developments and changes to the kits come along! Above all, and it sounds like you plan to, have fun with the build! Don't worry about afterwards either; the club and especially your nearest club Areas will have plenty of ways for you to use and get a kick out of the car.
