Boot lid panel

There probably is a tool you know what dremel are like , however I do all mine free hand . 

 

What I have found best is to tape the cut line with some quality masking tape and run down that , because the cutting disc when penetrated through the carbon or grp is longer than say a bandsaw blade it is easier to keep straight . You need to keep the blade from fully going through otherwise it will sit on the retaining screw on the end of the shaft and that will leave a line on one side of the cut , I would say a couple of trial runs and is surprisingly easy . 

If you are unsure you can always cut an extra mm away or so and then sand back with some p60 on a sanding block or piece of wood .

And here's a picture of a rear shelf almost finished that I fitted to Ron's car , just to give you some more options as to what way you want to go , this is a track oriented car and has no boot box although we wanted to make it easily removable to get to the fuel tank area :
